General Manager – Michelin-Starred Restaurant Group

Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum
An emerging high-end restaurant group, currently operating a Michelin-starred site in London, is seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead their next phase of expansion. With two new openings planned this year and ambitious long-term growth, this is an opportunity to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and rapidly evolving business.
The Role
This is not a traditional GM position. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the commercial success of the business while maintaining exceptional operational standards. Working closely with the ownership team and Head Chef, this role requires someone who can balance strategic oversight with a strong presence on the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for financial performance, including P&L management, cost control, and revenue optimisation.
- Leading the front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience.
- Identifying and implementing strategies to enhance profitability, efficiency, and brand positioning.
- Building and managing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Working closely with the leadership team to drive the group’s expansion and establish a framework for future openings.
The Right General Manager
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-end or Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse financial data and make strategic decisions to improve profitability.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive the business forward with autonomy.
- A balance of hands-on leadership and strategic oversight, ensuring both day-to-day success and long-term growth.
- Experience working with a high-net-worth clientele and an understanding of premium hospitality.
